Rescues with hydraulic equipment

Two Trapped by a Fallen Tree

CDS rescue team were immediately dispatched to the North Tikal neighborhood where two youth were trapped by a fallen tree. 12yo Brandon Steven Ramos and Jaison Vladimir Alfaro of 13 years suffered various injuries. They had been playing in the care before the tree fell trapping them inside.

Strong windstorms were the cause of the tree falling and CDS from the Apopa branch collaborated with the Municipal Protection response dept to extricate them by using chain saws to cut the tree and hydraulic equipment. The youth were stabilized, secured and transported to Rosales and Zacamil hospitals in San Salvador.

Another Extrication Operation for Comandos

The CDS extrication team was immediately dispatched to assist 39yo Jose Palacios Casco and 37yo Gustavo Ángel Hernández when their microbus with plates  141-305 crashed into a CAESS truck who had been working along the Ejército Blvd near Molsa.

The accident took place around 10:40 pm and hydraulic extrication equipment was utilized. Gustavo suffered a head injury and both were immediately packaged and transported to higher level of care at Rosales Hospital in downtown San Salvador. It took the Comandos de Salvamento UDR team aprox 20 minutes to extricate Gustavo.

MVA and subsequent Extrication

The CDS Extrication Team took 20 minutes to extricate a military employee after he lost control of his car and crashing into an electrical post along ejército blvd.

24yo Erick Francisco Escalante, lost control at km marker 3.5 due to a slick road and became trapped in his car. Hydraulic jaws of life among other manual extrication equipment was utilized.

He was secured, packaged, and transported to the local military hospital.
