CDS, National Firefighters, and the Red Cross rescued Omar Pineda after he fell 20 meters in the vehicle he was driving, into the Tomayate River in Cuscatacingo, Northern San Salvador. Witnesses states that while he was distributing soft drinks to the local small corner stores in the area of La Colonia Campoamor, his brakes failed causing him to drive off the cliff. Another injured patient was Erick Pineda. Both were secured and immediately transported to the Social Security and Zacamil Hospitals.
