Airline Accident Recovery Operation

THREE DOAs AT SCENE

A recovery unit from the CDS SAR group recovered three bodies at an airline accident south of the Ilopango military airport. Two of the victims were Chinese, and one Israeli National. At 1pm, The Salvadoran Air force inspected the crash zone and put out the fire before  forensic specialists from Medicinal Legal were called in to give clearance to CDS for the recovery. Names of the victims were Pulsar Group owner Yaron Degani, and two others initially identified as Lee Yen and Yu Wen Kao. Yaron was a former C-130 pilot who owned an avionics production plant at Ilopango airport and sold small high performance acrobatic planes to private entities and Colombia. Photos: CDS

Señor Dagani, an Israelí living in El Salvador for more than 20 years. He also was a jet engine advisor for TACA airlines.
