A male was ran over by a train this morning near the Naval Force of El Salvador and the Tiendona Market in the east of San Salvador.

The victim was identified as 44yo Salvador Morán Melgar. According to first hand information provided by Comandos de Salvamento, the victim tried to cross the tracks faster than the oncoming train. As a result of the accident, them man was urgently rushed to Rosales Hospital.  According to a CDS EMT, the man presented with his legs in an acute condition that may result in an amputation.  The incident happened at 7:45 a.m.
