CDS and the Salvadoran Red Cross rescued an ebriated patient who responded to the name of Jorge Arnoldo Villeda Mejía in the Colonia El Triunfo on Blvd Constitución. Method of injuries occured when he fell from a ravine together with a friend who were walking a path then lost their balance. The patient was securely transported to Zacamil hospital with possible internal injuries.

Three alledged medical doctors were involved in an MVA with a Microbus at 3:50am this morning along the Paseo General Escalón in Colonia Escalón. At least two were ebriated. Others injured included three females that were riding in the microbus. The injured were stabilized and transported to Rosales and ISS hospital. CDS Rescue Support teams were dispatched to the Eastern bus Terminal in San Salvador today. Witnesses on scene report a bus that was speeding crashed into one that was parked. Three patients that were trapped in bus debris were securely extricated. Most passengers were triaged on scene ruling out serious injuries while twelve others were transported to surrounding hospitals. A few others were transferred to our walkin clinic/Main Base for suturing and psychoemotional debriefing and recovery.

A SAR team from CDS main base recovered a body from the Tutunichapa river today. Witnesses on scene could not identify the victim. CDS estimates the male to be between 35-40 years old with blue pants. If anyone can identify, please contact our main base in San Salvador at 22211310.
